Thanks
I had the opportunity to produce some work for the new Nobrow book that came out today!

Over the summer I was contacted by my good friend Seb, who approached me about producing some artwork for an online zine/blog. He was going to be interviewing the godfather of Austrian Psychobilly/Blues Trash.

It’s been a few months since I last posted on here. After Uni my art has been supplanted by a need to pay off some debts by getting two jobs. But I’m back in the black now and have bought myself a relief press all of my own! (I’ll post some pictures) And have gotten back into printing with a vengeance. So I’ll be posting some new work over the next week.
PS I will be starting up a new website/portfolio within the week too, so keep an eye out.
Thanks to all who attended the Private View last night. If you are out and about in Bristol drop by the Here Shop/Gallery on Gloucester Road to check out a bunch of work by myself and my fellow graduates from Bath Spa University. Check out the review on Design Week too.
A new series of prints I’m planning on starting are based around my love of exploitation movies, in particular Australian exploitation or ‘Ozploitation’. The first will be based on the bad guy ‘Wez’ from Mad Max 2 and I hope to have it finished in time to exhibit it in the upcoming Dont Be Sad exhibition at the Here Gallery in Bristol.
It’s been a while since I saw a music video that impressed me so much.
In the run up to the Zappa print I have already posted I was toying with traditional Japanese woodcut techniques as a possible format, but I stuck with the lino. These are some prints I produced as an experiment for the Zappa print, I really enjoyed the process behind the Japanese technique and plan to use it again in the near future.
Along with focusing on lino and woodcut, I’ve been trying my hands at as many different print techniques as I can and I’ve posted a few up; A photoetching of a photo my dad took back in New York in the mid-seventies and a sugarlift etching of Tom Waits.
Earlier this year I finished a set of prints based on my trip to Cambodia. Recently I collaborated with Robin Cox to create a book in which to house the prints.
